AEW Double Or Nothing 2021: 10 Things That Must Happen
2. Stadium Stampede Stays Serious
Last year's Stadium Stampede epic had splashes of comedy to it. The Inner Circle and The Elite arguably had to use comedic tropes because the dynamic of their feud changed - the pandemic hit, Blood & Guts was postponed and the rivalry took on a new atmosphere.
That cannot happen again come Stampede II.
Inner Circle's issues with The Pinnacle have been much more serious since MJF turned his back on Chris Jericho's crew and formed his own faction. Then, at Blood & Guts, things got gnarly, bloody and generally very violent. There's no going back now; the Jacksonville Jaguars mascot doesn't quite fit into the story this time.
Rumours suggest that Stadium Stampede's second run will (at least partly) play out in front of the live audience at Double Or Nothing. That sounds good, 'cause it means everyone will be fired up by their reactions and the brawl will be along the same lines as that cage match predecessor.
Bring it on.
