AEW Double Or Nothing 2021: 10 Things That Must Happen
3. Miscommunication Costs The Challengers
Your writer much prefers The Young Bucks as Christian Dior-sporting heels who believe they should be AEW Tag-Team Champs forever just because they call the shots. Layering this arrogance on top of their already-obvious need to try and steal every show they're on was a smart play.
Their rivals couldn't be more different.
Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston are the kind of everyman grafters who don't expect handouts. Together, they've clicked, but the union probably won't last too long. This fan can see miscommunication costing Mox and Eddie the chance to become champs on Sunday. Then, he envisions Kingston turning on Jon or the pair brawling to get that anger out of their systems.
The Bucks have been titleholders since November 2020, but there's no rush to take the belts off them right now. AEW need to build up a worthy babyface tag to do that, and the Mox/Kingston combo doesn't feel like it's here to stay.
