Two for one "must happen" here.

Jeff Jarrett has been one of AEW's surprise packages since joining the company last November. Many folks scoffed when they heard ol' J-E-Double-F was incoming, but he and Jay Lethal formed a fine tag team that's become a credit to the product overall. That doesn't mean they should win gold on Sunday mind.

FTR literally just bagged those AEW Tag Titles at the start of April, and this second reign should act as an apology for the ridiculously-short run Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler erm..."enjoyed" back in 2020. It'd be foolish to take the belts from everyone's favourite NWA-style traditionalists at DoN.

Mark Briscoe is special guest ref, and he'd be the perfect out for Lethal and Jarrett. They'd be mad that he counted the three for FTR, so Briscoe would finally snap and lay out his old mate Jay. That's coming - it's only a matter of time.
