AEW Double Or Nothing 2023: 10 Things That Must Happen

5. Adam Cole Wins The Unsanctioned Brawl

AEW deserve a ton of credit for the hot pull-apart brawl angle they booked for last week's episode of Rampage. That's the kind of thing fans haven't seen nearly enough of on the Friday 'B' (soon to be 'C') show, so seeing some pay-per-view setup featuring big names was awesome.

Now, only one winner makes sense: Adam Cole (baby).

This or the TNT Title ladder match would be a fine choice to open the pay-per-view, being honest. Seeing Chris Jericho and Cole brawl around ringside and set the scene for more chaos to come during 'Anarchy In The Arena' sounds fun; plus, AEW might want to keep those matches as far apart as possible.

Cole winning brings him closer to hitting the heights his All Elite run has struggled to reach thus far. Also, and this is rarely lost on AEW hardcores, Jericho just doesn't need to win a lot of matches these days. He can take the 'L' then promo his ass off to recover.
