AEW Double Or Nothing 2023: 10 Things That Must Happen

4. “Four Pillars” Goes Elimination

Some fans will feel differently about this idea, because there is admittedly something snappy about one fall putting a champ's title reign in real jeopardy. However, there's also something just a little more epic about elimination-style four-way bouts, and that's the big pitch here.

Such formatting would also clue fans in on who Tony Khan really sees as the more important of the "Four Pillars". Each elimination could be taken as a snapshot view of each man's standing on the roster for the rest of 2023, in other words. Sammy Guevara would go first, then Jack Perry, then that'd leave Darby Allin and MJF.

There's something super-cool about seeing all of these young lions in such a featured spot on AEW's "WrestleMania" generally, and it'd be ace if TK could give them as much time as possible. Turning the main event into an elimination battle is the easiest way to go about that.

Time to run the gauntlet, MJF!
