AEW Double Or Nothing: 8 Things We Learned

1. Jon Moxley Is All Elite

Minutes after Jericho's win over Omega (which was newsworthy enough considering it set up a title match with Hangman Page), Double Or Nothing had its cover story. Jon Moxley, more recently known as Dean Ambrose in WWE, stormed the scene, jumping over the security barricade to ambush Jericho and lay out Omega.

Las Vegas, along with the entire pro wrestling world, collectively lost their minds.

This is a major coup for AEW. By signing Moxley, the Khan family, Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks are showing serious intent. They're pretty much saying that they're up for a fight, and they're daring to yank a chain Vince McMahon previously had comfortably around his neck for ludicrous photoshoots in Muscle & Fitness.

Moxley's arrival and the lure of a dream match with Omega is a statement of intent that All Elite can be the true alternative to WWE that fans crave in 2019. Double Or Nothing, whilst hardly perfect, was a front-page, momentous occasion that has people talking.

Moxley, already, is a major reason why.
