AEW DYNAMITE REPORT: SCU Defeat The Young Bucks, Jungle Boy Survives Against Chris Jericho

The Young Bucks failed to become Champions of the Tag Team Division shaped in their image following a spirited AEW Dynamite loss to fellow company cornerstones SCU.
Matt and Nick Jackson ran the Champions close in something of a sprint of a main event before all four combatants were destroyed by The Dark Order to close the show. The reinvigorated group returned to television after weeks of vignettes fleshing out the gimmick, taking out the babyfaces as well as Christopher Daniels, Cody, Kenny Omega and Dustin Rhodes when they tried to make the save. Recent Dynamite jobbers Alex Reynolds and John Silver confirmed themselves as new members of the cult, joining the beatdown.
Elsewhere on the show, Jungle Boy went the full ten minutes with Chris Jericho as promised. A furious 'LeChampion' demanded five more minutes before quickly relenting when his younger challenger almost took the win. Feigning indifference to his embarrassment, he again rolled out the Inner Circle red carpet to Jon Moxley following his formal offer last week.
In other notable spots from the show, Cody and Darby Allin booked their match against each other with a victory over Butcher and Blade, whilst Kenny Omega and Adam Page clashed again in defeat to The Lucha Bros. Hostilities were diffused when PAC appeared on the big screen apparently threatening to destroy Kenny's mate Michael Nakazawa, but the whereabouts of both went unknown once 'The Best Bout Machine' and 'Hangman' made it backstage.
