AEW Full Gear 2020: 10 Things That Must Happen

4. MJF Beats Chris Jericho

Jericho vs. MJF is the kind of match one looks at, nods his heads and declares a possible show stealer. It has all the ingredients to be special: Jericho will be motivated to work with another young guy, MJF is on fire right now and they've got a good story to work with. That, fingers crossed, will all combine to reap rewards.

MJF should win.

AEW has more choices that way. Should the snot-nosed young heel triumph, then he can lure Jericho into a false sense of security like he did with Cody. Or, Mr. Friedman can publicly declare he won't be joining The Inner Circle at all. Choices, choices, choices.

Jericho and MJF can even become an unlikely tweener duo and challenge The Bucks for their newly-won tag belts if AEW want. They don't have that range of options if Jericho emerges victorious - that limits things a little too much, which doesn't make sense.
