Being honest, the booking of Jade Cargill vs. Nyla Rose has been all over the place. Fans don't know who to cheer for in the feud, 'The Baddies' have looked like the Three Stooges, and Vickie Guerrero's cackles somehow seem even more grating than usual. It's been a miss, and...
...it could get worse.
Don't forget that there's something more than the TBS Title at stake on Saturday - Jade's unbeaten streak is on the line too, and it's hardly inconceivable that Nyla could kill that run dead come the weekend. There's a sense that AEW top brass are running out of ways to extend Cargill's success anyway.
This shouldn't happen though, and not just because Jade shouldn't lose. No, it can't happen 'cause Rose being the one to beat Cargill makes no sense when the rivalry has been borderline comedic. One could soundtrack the whole thing with the old Benny Hill theme, which really says it all.
