AEW Full Gear 2022: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

8. Jamie Hayter Wins The Interim Belt

Note the wording there.

Would it be sh*t if Jamie Hayter was rewarded for her hard graft with a title win someday? Nah, not at all. She's on the verge of breaking free from Britt Baker's side, and has become one of the most compelling stars on AEW's roster in 2022. However, she isn't wrestling for the Women's Title proper.

Toni Storm is the Interim Champ, and there's still some merit to Thunder Rosa returning for a showdown with the woman claiming to have replaced her on top of the mountain. That kinda leaves Jamie as the third wheel; it'd suck if AEW elected to spin off into Storm vs. Rosa but put an Interim strap on Hayter.

Why would she want that? Also, the last thing this division needs is to become even muddier. AEW's chief goal at Full Gear should be finally sorting out the definitive Women's Champ picture, not prolonging the Interim stuff or weighing down a promising push with it.
