Having exited WWE earlier this month, three-time Emmy Award winner Jennifer Pepperman has joined AEW as Vice President of Content Development.

As per a statement from AEW, Pepperman will work alongside Head of Creative Tony Khan to help develop the TV product. Having initially joined WWE in 2017, she served as a Senior Writer and Producer for the market leader up until her departure this month. As seen above, AEW even gave Pepperman the formal #AllElite treatment.

On this latest AEW addition, Tony Khan enthused:

“Adding Jennifer Pepperman’s brilliant mind to the AEW team opens the door for exciting new ideas and will help us build upon the incredible stories currently developing on the road to AEW Revolution across our three weekly shows on TBS and TNT, and the effects of Jennifer’s arrival in AEW will be felt for many years in the future. We’re thrilled to welcome her today, and I look forward to her creativity and collaboration with our team across the board in what will be AEW’s biggest year yet, and beyond.”

Away from her WWE work, Jennifer Pepperman picked up Daytime Emmy Awards for her involvement with As the World Turns in 2007, One Life to Live in 2014, and After Forever in 2019.

Most recently, Pepperman's time in WWE saw her working on creative for the women's division on SmackDown. She opted to leave the market leader barely a week ago, with plentiful WWE personnel moving to praise Pepperman's creativity and energy in the midst of that departure.
