AEW Rampage fell to an all-time low television rating in its regular Friday, 10 PM EST timeslot on 2 December, nosediving in P2+ viewership and in the all-important 18-49 demographic.

As originally reported by Wrestlenomics' Brandon Thurston, a total of 361,000 P2+ viewers watched last Friday's Rampage. Amongst this number were around 104,000 aged between 18 and 49 for a P18-49 rating of 0.08.

Rampage finished 60th on the night amongst original cable telecasts. Because the show was outside the top 50, detailed demographic information is not available.

The P18-49 number makes for particularly dismal reading from an AEW standpoint. Rampage has never fallen so low in the demo, even when preempted, with the previous record sitting at 0.11 compared to last week's 0.08. In terms of P2+ viewership, Rampage has slipped below this number before, but only when the show has been preempted. 2 December's 361,000 is the new record low for the regular Friday slot.

AEW faced considerable competition last Friday, though. As well as NBA and FIFA World Cup coverage on ESPN and FS1 respectively, FOX's Pac-12 college football championship game draw 6.2 million P2+ viewers and a 1.57 P18-49 rating. This led to WWE SmackDown's preemption to FS1.
