Chris Jericho will defend the Ring Of Honor World Heavyweight Championship against Dalton Castle on next week's special Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite.

AEW taped tonight's episode last night in Toronto, with those in attendance confirming the match including @ryechoheart of Pro Wrestling Torch, who posted the following picture;

The All Elite Wrestling original is currently holding the ROH Championship hostage, and has pledged to defeat ex-titleholders as he reimagines the brand in his own name. To this end, he defeated Bryan Danielson on Wednesday's Dynamite having toppled Bandido a fortnight earlier.

Castle is currently one third of the Ring Of Honor Six-Man Tag Team Champions along with The Boys, having won gold in Tony Khan's version of Ring Of Honor back in September. He reigned as Ring Of Honor Champion between December 2017 and June 2018, having defeated former titleholder Cody before losing to Jay Lethal.

He wrestled on the very first ROH show of the Khan era too, defeating Joe Hendry on the Supercard Of Honor pre-show over WrestleMania weekend.
