AEW: Ranking Every 2020 Signing's Run From Best To Worst
3. Eddie Kingston
Like Ricky Starks before him, the Mad King made his AEW debut challenging Cody for the TNT Championship. Their brutal No Holds Barred match grabbed a lot of attention and led to Kingston signing with the promotion full-time on the 31 July.
Eddie joined up with the Butcher and the Blade, and later the Lucha Brothers, in a stable that dominated AEW TV for a time. But things really kicked into gear during Eddie Kingston's feud with Jon Moxley.
The second of their two AEW World Championship matches was a brutal I Quit bout that closed out Full Gear 2020. The match was one of the best on a night of incredible wrestling, scoring 4.25 stars from Dave Meltzer.
During his feud with Moxley, Kingston did some of the best work of his entire career. His phenomenal promo work made this match feel big time and propelled it to the main event of a show that also saw Kenny Omega take on Hangman Page, and the Young Bucks win the AEW World Tag Team Championships from FTR.
He might be Mad, but that's no reason not to bow down to this King.
