AEW Reveals Women’s Bracket For The Owen Hart Memorial Tournament, One Mystery Competitor
AEW reveals the Women's Owen Hart Tournament bracket, with another little surprise...
AEW have officially revealed the Women's bracket for the first-ever Owen Hart Tournament.
The prestigious tournament, set to kick-off next week, will culminate in a final that is set to go down on the May 29th Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
The stars now firmly confirmed to be taking part in this debut of the Owen Hart tribute tournament are as follows: Hikaru Shida, Ruby Soho, Toni Storm, Riho, Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter, and Red Velvet. But, much like their male counterparts' bracket, a Joker was also revealed to be taking up the last spot in an upcoming contest with former AEW Women's World Champion Britt Baker.
The other first round battles will see Toni Storm battle Jamie Hayter, Hikaru Shida take on Red Velvet, and Ruby Soho collide with Riho after her victorious display on last night's Rampage in a bout with Yuka Sakazaki.
The men's side of the tournament saw its bracket revealed on this week's edition of Dynamite, confirming the field of Rey Fenix, Jeff Hardy, Darby Allin, Kyle O'Reilly, Adam Cole, Dax Harwood, and Samoa Joe - with the aforementioned Joker entry also being present.
First round matches for the men's side are as follows:
Rey Fenix vs. Kyle O’Reilly
Samoa Joe vs. A mystery ‘Joker’ opponent
Jeff Hardy vs. Darby Allin
Adam Cole vs. Dax Harwood
