AEW Revolution: 10 Things That Must Happen

5. Jake Hager Gets A Strong Win

Despite making a bold challenge, Dustin cannot win.

This is Hager's first match in AEW, and it's of the utmost importance that he rallies to fend off some strong Rhodes pressure, smashes the veteran with a big Powerbomb and picks up a strong win. Without one, Hager's effectiveness as Chris Jericho's Inner Circle muscle will be damaged.

Dustin can lose as many matches as he likes without dropping credibility anyway. He's nearing the end of his career, fans cherish the fact that he's prolonged it outside WWE in killer matches with his brother and others, and he should be used to ready others for future success.

There's a Dustin and Cody vs. Hager and Jericho tag-team match somewhere in AEW's future anyway. If the company want some 50/50 booking honey, then they can always grant Rhodes his revenge there. Regardless of what they do in the future, Revolution belongs to Hager.
