AEW Revolution 2021: 10 Things That Need To Happen Before The PPV
6. Eddie Kingston Face Turn
Where do you go with Eddie Kingston following his outstanding performance at Full Gear?
It seems that the only logical direction is to turn the Mad King into a mega-babyface. His character is complex enough that he can easily switch his angle to become a passionate pro-wrestler again, rather than a bitter heel.
It appears AEW are bringing PAC back into the fold and the Geordie star could be about to rekindle the relationship he has with the Lucha Bros. This implosion within Eddie Kingston's family could be what leads to his babyface turn. Eddie, The Butcher and The Blade Vs. Death Triangle could be a feud that carries on for a long term. It would add a different flavour to the regular faction warfare we see on AEW as the act could implode from within.
Ultimately, Kingston as a fiery babyface could be great for any of AEW's divisions. He could slot into each of them perfectly. However, seeing Eddie Kingston team with Jon Moxley and go on a tear in the tag division is something that would make perfect sense in relation to their story, especially if Moxley loses the title.
