AEW Revolution 2023: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

8. New Tag Champs (But Not Who You Think)

AEW fans were left shaken up when The Gunns dethroned The Acclaimed earlier this month to become brand new Tag-Team Champs. That was a title switch few saw coming, but it could work out well if creative gets behind Billy's boys (not the kayfabe ones!) over the coming stretch.

That includes Revolution, because it'd be a bit sh*tty if All Elite booked another change for the sake of it this Sunday. Don't totally rule it out though - Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal have gelled well as a unit, and that might tempt the company into gifting them a reign as champs heading into Double Or Nothing.

It'd feel messy.

The Gunns beating Max Caster and Anthony Bowens was shocking enough. Putting the Jarrett/Lethal duo over here would be too rapid a switch for belts that looked like they were finally heading for consistency again. There's just no need to muddy waters further by getting another team involved in this pass-the-parcel game.
