2. The ‘Iron Man’ Bores People

'Iron Man' matches are always a risk regardless of talent involved.

Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart, who were both at the peak of their powers back then, found that out firsthand at WrestleMania XII. They produced one of the most Marmite 'Mania mains in history, and struggled to keep fans invested for the entire 60-minute length of their match.

MJF and Bryan Danielson could be next in line to find out how bloody difficult it is to keep folks hooked for that length of time, and they're up against modern distractions like social media too. It's unlikely, but not impossible, that Sunday's 'Iron Man' winds up being better on paper than it has any chance of being in execution.

On the plus side, these dudes are playing to an audience that generally adores lengthy matches. So, they've got a real puncher's chance to make this work, but it's hardly a given. Nightmare outcome? Punters are bored 35-40 minutes in.
