Being a sane, rational person, AEW's Thunder Rosa has said anybody not feeling sorry for CM Punk after Monday night is a "psychopath".

Monday saw Punk cut an emotional promo on WWE Raw, revealing he suffered a torn triceps at the Royal Rumble. As such, not only does that rule out his planned match against World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins at WrestleMania XL, it means that the Second City Saint could be out of action until as long as September.

Because wrestling has such a bizarre, crazed fandom to it in certain quarters these days, some 'fans' have taken to various social media platforms to show their delight at somebody suffering a major injury. And addressing the Punk injury on Busted Open (via eWrestlingNews), Thunder Rosa said you'd have to be a "psychopath" not to feel sorry for the Straight-Edge Superstar.

As the former AEW Women's Champion put it when discussing Punk's Raw promo:

"If that was his plan, to make people feel empathetic for what he's going through, I think he did an amazing job. Even if you hate CM Punk, there was at one point, you feel some sort of empathy. You had to. If not, you are a psychopath."

In addition to CM Punk out through injury, Seth Rollins himself is dealing with a torn ACL and partially torn meniscus, Kevin Owens worked the Royal Rumble with a fractured foot, and Charlotte Flair is expected to be out until October due to damaging her ACL, MCL, and meniscus. On a more positive note, names like Dakota Kai and Rey Mysterio are believed to be close to returning to the ring.
