All Elite Wrestling's Sammy Guevara was pulled from a recent set of Impact Wrestling television tapings due to creative differences, seemingly upsetting his employers in the process.

Slam Wrestling broke the story on Sunday, with PWInsider corroborating. It is noted that AEW's 'Spanish God' was supposed to come in and work a short storyline for Impact but didn't fly himself to Nashville the day before the tapings, as was initially planned, and rescheduled himself to head there the following day, meaning he'd be arriving a few hours before filming commenced.

It is stated that everyone had agreed to the plans, with AEW and Impact working it out. Despite this, Guevara seemingly changed his mind, decided he didn't want to do "what was originally agreed to." This led to Impact brass pulling Guevara from the tapings, with the Slam report stating that his caused a rift with AEW officials.

Chris Jericho was the one who contacted Sammy to tell him to fly home after arriving in Nashville. 'Le Champion' also contacted Impact executive Don Callis about Guevara not working the tapings.

The bulk of what was initially planned for Guevara was given to Impact newcomer Black Taurus instead, according to PWInsider. There's no word on what, exactly, Sammy was going to be doing, though it's thought that it would have played off his decision to quit The Inner Circle on last week's AEW Dynamite. Guevara pitched alternative plans to Impact after deciding he didn't want to go with the original story.

The good news? Impact sources claim relationships with AEW remain "golden," and that there are no issues between the two promotions.
