4. The Heels DON’T Capitalise On ‘No DQ’

AEW almost-certainly added the no disqualification stip to Christian Cage vs. Adam Copeland for a reason. Weirdly, this guy read someone on Twitter/X claiming it's there so Copeland has a better shot at winning the TNT Title, but that's the opposite way yours truly sees the scenario playing out.

If anything, the 'No DQ' addition should let Cage's goon squad run in and try to help their patriarch retain the TNT strap. After all, it'd be rather silly if Killswitch, Nick Wayne and Shayna Wayne stood idly by watching the former Edge tear down their leader en route to victory.

They'd do everything in their power to make sure that isn't the way things play out on Saturday.

The lawlessness of this bout demands some run-ins from Christian's mates and possibly even Sting and Darby Allin on the opposite side. Sod it, have Ric Flair lock a figure four on Nick Wayne right in front of Shayna for the hell of it.

OK, maybe not.
