AEW Worlds End 2023: 10 Things That Must Happen

6. The Don Callis Family Triumphs

Dynamite sidestepped Chris Jericho finding a mystery partner to challenge Ricky Starks and Big Bill (for now) by setting up an eight-man tag for Worlds End instead. Jericho has reunited with Sammy Guevara, and they'll join Sting and Darby Allin vs. Starks, Bill, Powerhouse Hobbs and Kyle Fletcher.

Yes, yes this is as filler as filler gets.

There's still fun to be had if Sting picks his moments opposite Hobbs and Bill though. The same could be said for seeing Fletcher jousting with Jericho, or the Don Callis Family in general try to bite back at ex-member Sammy. It's real important that the heels win out in the end though.

Like, that's surely the only option here right? Callis won't have much to crow about if his charges come up short, and AEW has already lined up Jericho and partner (presumably Guevara) for a Tag Title shot in the near future. Jobbing the heels is avoidable on this occasion.
