All 10 WWE PPVs John Cena Has Missed In The Last Decade

2. Battleground 2013

If you thought Night of Champions 2013 was a bore, don't waste your time with WWE's Battleground pay-per-view. It took place in arguably one of the worst periods of programming in the last decade, where every second of WWE TV was devoted to The Authority. The WWE Championship match between Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton was worse than their Night of Champions outing and ended with Big Show knocking both competitors out. Yes, a PPV main event concluded with a non-finish, consequently rendering the match irrelevant. The only storyline of significance occurring at the time was the Rhodes family's feud with The Authority, the sole saving grace of this awful event. Cody Rhodes, Goldust and The Shield had one of the best bouts of the year, but it's a shame it had to take place at one of the worst shows. John Cena might have lucked out by not being involved with this atrocity.
