11. Kairi Sane

Despite having the shortest title reign in the NXT Women's Championship's history, Kairi Sane had a historic time on top of the black and gold brand. After failing in her first attempt to win the championship at Takeover: WarGames, Sane would become number one contender for the title, which was now held by the woman Kairi had defeated to win the first ever Mae Young Classic - Shayna Baszler.

At Takeover: Brooklyn 4, Sane would once again defeat The Queen of Spades, putting an end to what was looking like the beginnings of a dominant reign by Baszler. Despite holding the NXT Women's Championship for a respectable 71 days, Sane did not successfully defend her title once. Even with these shortcomings, Kairi's title reign is nonetheless noteworthy as The Pirate Princess was the woman to walk into WWE's first all-women pay-per-view, Evolution, with the championship.

Unfortunately for Kairi Sane, Evolution would be her final night as champion, as the debuting Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke would interfere on Baszler's behalf, costing Sane the title. In what could have been an all time great championship reign, Kairi Sane amounted to little more than a speed bump on the dominance Shayna Baszler had over NXT and it's women's division.
