All 12 WWE NXT Women's Champions Ranked Worst To Best
10. Rhea Ripley
After Rhea Ripley's transformation following her first appearance in the Mae Young Classic, it was clear that she was destined for big things in WWE. After dominating NXT UK in the early portion of the brand's existence, The Nightmare would come stateside, rapidly ascending the black and gold brand's roster. Ripley would defeat NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler and her team inside the first women's WarGames match, despite a four on two disadvantage, earning her a shot at the title.
On one of the first episodes of NXT on the USA Network, Rhea would defeat The Queen of Spades, ending Baszler's historic reign with the locker room emptying to celebrate with Ripley. The Nightmare would go on to successfully defend her title against Toni Storm and Bianca Belair at World's Collide and Takeover: Portland, respectively. The brazen Ripley would arrive on Monday Night Raw shortly after Charlotte Flair won the Royal Rumble match and championship opportunity at WrestleMania 36.
The Queen would accept the challenge from Ripley and the match was set for WrestleMania 36 at Raymond James Stadium. Unfortunately for both women, this was right at the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, and their title match would take place in front of zero fans inside the WWE Performance Center. Even more unfortunate for Ripley was that she would come out on the losing end, tapping out to the Figure Eight, ending her reign at 108 days.
