All 15 Undertaker/Triple H WWE Matches: Ranked From Worst To Best

5. SmackDown (17 May 2001)

Undertaker, Triple H, WrestleMania XXVIII
WWE Network

A few months after their first WrestleMania classic, Triple H and The Undertaker picked up right where they left off in Houston with a hard-hitting brawl that once again spilled into the crowd. It wasted no time in getting started as the 'American Badass' attacked Triple H during his entrance and unloaded with a series of hard strikes - setting the tone for the remainder of the match.

Unlike their acclaimed WrestleMania bouts, this wasn't a wrestling classic. It was an incredibly engaging fight, enhanced by the No Holds Barred stipulation, that never slowed down from start to finish. Moreover, with Undertaker seeking to avenge the crash hoax that Austin and 'The Game' put his then-wife, Sara, through, the match was emotionally charged and thus, we were all invested.

It's sad that this one ended in a No Contest, because it didn't really make sense, given the No Holds Barred stipulation. Thankfully, the epic finish that involved interference from Stone Cold Steve Austin and Kane made up for it.

This forgotten SmackDown main event may not have been as iconic as the pair's 2002 encounters, but it was a heck of a lot more fun.
