The Undertaker defending his WWE Championship against Triple H in a match that The Rock interferes in? What is this, 1999? Unfortunately not.

'Taker met 'The Game' in the summer of 2002 in the midst of his Big Evil heel run. It was a feud that was built like the spectacle it was and rightfully received the main event slot on the evening. However, the execution of the bout itself left a lot to be desired.

Everyone loves a good brawl, but not when it drags on uninterrupted for over 20 minutes and fails to offer much enticing action. Though there were some enjoyable moments buried in there somewhere, the whole match proved to be a painfully long, plodding affair that couldn't be seen as anything more than a major disappointment.

The audience's disinterest certainly didn't help matters, and neither did Paul Heyman's commentary which focused far too much on Brock Lesnar and The Rock - all of which made the WWE Championship match that was unfolding before their eyes seem like an afterthought. Even if it was hard to remain focused on the uninspired match, it was the announce team's jobs to make sure that at least the viewers cared about it.

Though the action did pick up significantly in the final stretch, it was too little too late - both men were winded by this point and unless you were The Rock, the audience just didn't care.
