All 15 Undertaker/Triple H WWE Matches: Ranked From Worst To Best

7. Friday Night's Main Event (5 September 1997)

Undertaker, Triple H, WrestleMania XXVIII

Back when Raw took a brief absence from TV due to Monday Night Football, WWE produced the short-lived Friday Night's Main Event instead. It was here where much of The Undertaker's 1997 feud with Shawn Michaels took form, and as a result, he ended up meeting 'HBK's buddy, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, in the ring.

The match was respectable in length, and well-paced, with a lot of solid action taking place in a short amount of time. 'The Demon From Death Valley's Chokeslam to Hunter over the top rope was particularly memorable and the interference from Michaels, Rick Rude and Chyna was the kind of overbooked madness the early part of the feud was renowned for.

Not a classic by any means, but this one was definitely of a higher standard than a lot of the pair's follow-up battles. It may have been short, but it was definitely one of their sweeter outings. It's a shame that this one didn't take place on Raw, because it was undoubtedly better than any of their more-famous collisions from the red brand.
