20. Money In The Bank 2017 (Men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match)

Sullied by what was, in general, a bad card, the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match in 2017 failed to live up to previous years.

While everyone in the match worked hard, it’s easy to find better ladder matches out of Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and Dolph Ziggler, as none of the spots they performed measured to the stuff they were pulling off at WrestleMania 32 or Money in the Bank 2016. And though this list doesn’t exactly factor booking decisions (matches should be rated on quality rather than who goes over), it does put a damper on things when the winner is Baron Corbin, who was by far the least interesting choice.

Really, the problem with this match is that it’s basically just a tease for another match. After the night was through, all everyone was talking about was the stare down between AJ Styles and Nakamura.

We all eagerly await the inevitable confrontation, but when the seeds of it are the only noteworthy positive of this entire half-hour match, that’s not a good thing.
