All 8 WWE Universal Champions Ranked Worst To Best
5. Bray Wyatt
Bray Wyatt debuted in WWE in 2013, and for the next six years would one of the most underutilized superstars in WWE history. In April 2019, after nearly nine months away, Wyatt would return with one of the most unique characters in wrestling history in The Fiend. After months of establishing his new persona, Wyatt would win the Universal Championship for the first time, defeating Seth Rollins in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
Wyatt would defend his championship against The Miz and Daniel Bryan in the months that followed, before a returning Goldberg was thrust into a title match at Super Showdown 2020. The Fiend would be squashed by the WCW legend, losing the match and his Universal Championship in under three minutes, ending his reign at 119 days.
After feuding with John Cena, The Fiend would again challenge for the Universal Title, this time against former Wyatt Family partner Braun Strowman. The Fiend would win the blue strap for the second time, again in a Falls Count Anywhere match, in the main event of SummerSlam 2020. The title win would be largely overshadowed by the return of Roman Reigns, who would proceed to beat down Wyatt to close the show. This title reign would only last seven days, as at Payback, Reigns would begin his record breaking reign by defeating The Fiend and Strowman in a No Holds Barred triple threat match.
