Has there been a more disappointing title reign in NXT history than The Lucha Dragons' brief run with the tag belts at the end of 2014? After miraculously defeating The Ascension to end Konnor & Viktor's record run, Kalisto and Sin Cara seemed to immediately lose any support from the Full Sail crowd as the quality of their matches took a sharp downturn.

The Dragons had one major feud as champions, that saw them go up against The Vaudevillains. The Vaudies mocked the lucha duo, but the champions were able to retain their titles at NXT TakeOver: R Evolution. Many felt this was the wrong call at the time.

Those same many were dumbfounded when Kalisto and Sin Cara came up short against Blake and Murphy just a few weeks later. It is a testament to how underwhelming their reign was that it wasn't too disappointing when the Dubstep Cowboys took the titles.

The Lucha Dragons should have been way higher on this list, and it is a little confusing as to why they didn't do more with the belts.
