Adrian Neville and Corey Graves had a three month run as NXT Tag Team Champions in 2013, and to date they are the only team to win the titles that could be considered thrown-together in the classic WWE sense. Graves had actually been teaming with Kassius Ohno previously, before injuries took the man we know better as Chris Hero out indefinitely.

Adrian Neville had been having his own issues with The Wyatt Family, and as a result Graves and Neville joined forces to try and bring down the dastardly swamp dwellers. They were successful too, dethroning Harper and Rowan at the top of the NXT tag table on July 18th, 2013.

Graves and Neville always felt thrown-together (well, because they were), and it was no surprise when they eventually lost the titles and dissension took over. The Ascension defeated them, and the subsequent feud between the former champions was ended abruptly when Graves suffered the concussion that would begin the problems that would end his in-ring career.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
