Another Indicator That Sasha Banks Is Gone From WWE

Yet another development in the ongoing saga of the Boss' WWE status.

As the is she/isn't she released story continues to rumble on, there's now yet another indicator that Sasha Banks' time with WWE is coming to an end.

Picked up on by WrestlingNews.co, the Boss has been removed from the main screen of the Peacock app. Previously, Banks was one of the wrestlers fans could select as their own personal avatar. Other options are currently Roman Reigns and Asuka, and those who had chosen Sasha before have now had their icon replaced with the generic NBC Peacock logo.

This comes hot on the heels of Banks being removed from a WWE YouTube video celebrating the ten greatest moments of Paige's time with the promotion. Likewise, this obviously comes on the back of plentiful reports that Sasha has either already been released by WWE or will be departing the promotion imminently.

A five-time Raw Women's Champion, one-time SmackDown Women's Champion, three-time Women's Tag Team Champion and one-time NXT Women's Champion, the 30-year-old Banks has not been seen on WWE programming since walking out on WWE prior to the 16 May episode of Raw.

Unhappy with creative plans, Sasha and tag team partner Naomi reportedly placed their Women's Tag Team Titles on the desk of John Laurinaitis before exiting the building before that Raw. Following that, WWE suspended the duo, stripped them off said gold, and removed all of their merchandise from WWE Shop.

While there have been stories that Sasha Banks and/or Naomi have exited WWE, neither the company nor the talent have yet to make any official announcement on this front. That said, PWInsider reported earlier this week that the duo have now been removed from WWE's internal roster.
