Chris Dunn has left his position as a member of WWE's creative team this week.

Ringside News broke the story. The site has a track record when it comes to Dunn, having reported in November 2020 that he was working with the Street Profits on their promos.

Dunn had been with WWE since August 2016. He leaves after four years and eight months, with his LinkedIn page stating he also worked as a producer.

This is a time of considerable upheaval for WWE creative, with the promotion recently bringing in Mike Heller to work alongside Ed Koskey and Ryan Callachan as a lead writer. The former Ridiculousness writer joined at the same time as Andrea Listenberger departed, having returned to work last June after originally being let go in April.

Dunn's former collaborators, Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford, have been active on SmackDown, wrestling almost every single week. The duo had previously been linked to a WrestleMania 37 match with SmackDown Tag Team Champions Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, giving them a chance to regain the belts they lost to the Dirty Dawgs in January, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
