At Least 11 Wrestlers Miss WWE House Shows In COVID Crisis
Big names are pulled from WWE live events coming into Day 1 this week due to COVID caution.
WWE have been hit by a COVID crisis coming into last night's Madison Square Garden event.
Of the many notable names suddenly pulled from the show out of the blue, Seth Rollins has seemingly revealed on Twitter that the reason for his no-show was due to testing positive for COVID.
Merry Covid Christmas to me!!!! I LOVE FOOTBALL!!!

Understandably, Rollins' wife and Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch also wasn't in attendance last night, along with WWE Champion Big E, Bianca Belair, Bobby Lashley, Zelina Vega, Liv Morgan, Austin Theory, Carmella, and Doudrop. It's not known whether any of these Raw stars joined Rollins on the unfortunate positive list, or whether WWE simply made the decision to keep them away from the event as a precaution, with Day 1 literally just days away.
Elsewhere, Universal Champion Roman Reigns was also pulled from WWE's Tampa show, with Drew McIntyre and Sheamus vs. The Usos being the new makeshift main event for that night.
In terms of the Raw loop's new MSG main event? That saw Edge take on Kevin Owens in a steel cage in a first-time-ever one-on-one affair inside of the historic arena.
