WWE's masked attacker is... Austin Theory.

After several weeks of mystery and speculation, WWE's 'masked man' unmasked on last night's Raw as Austin Theory.

This mystery dates back to Survivor Series: WarGames last month, where a masked attacker delivered a superkick and a Curb Stomp to CM Punk, allowing Bron Breakker to nail a spear on Punk for the 1-2-3. Since then, this masked figure has resurfaced at several points, always to assist the Vision, as rumours and rumblings around the identity of this mystery man varied from Austin Theory to Montez Ford, to even AEW's Chris Jericho. And following recent reports that Theory had played this masked attacker at several points, last night indeed revealed Theory as the one helping the Vision do their dirty work.

As for that reveal, that came in the main event, where the masked man got the assist as Logan Paul defeated Rey Mysterio. CM Punk headed out to make the save for Rey, with the masked attacker heading off into the crowd, where they pulled down their hood, took off their headgear, and revealed themselves to be Austin Theory. And with Punk distracted by this, that allowed Bron Breakker to enter the ring and hit the Second City Saint with a spear as he turned around, with Raw going off the air as the second-generation Steiner held the World Heavyweight Title and talked trash to Punker.

Of course, CM Punk defends that World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker on the 5 January Raw, and even though this masked attacker has now been revealed, don't rule out further developments in this particular tale in the coming weeks...
