A new Fightful Select report containing several interesting backstage snippets from last week's AEW Full Gear 2020 pay-per-view has emerged, shedding new light on the well-received show.

With regards to the Elite Deletion, AEW filmed Sammy Guevara and Matt Hardy's wild brawl around a week in advance, taking heavy input from the performers in the process. People felt positive about it on the whole, with the finished product receiving favourable feedback backstage.

The report also states that AEW associates pursued photographs of the Full Gear set uploaded to the internet before the show itself in order to have them taken down. It is stated that attendees of an NCAA game at TIAA Bank Field (which is attached to Daily's Place, where AEW films) had caught a glimpse of the staging before bell-time, with their images hitting the internet soon after.

On top of all this, it is noted that AEW dissembled their ring as soon as the pay-per-view was over, despite the promotion using Daily's Place frequently, including multiple tapings this weel.

Full Gear 2020 drew largely positive responses from fans and critics alike, with The Young Bucks vs. FTR particularly revered.
