With Matt Hardy's AEW contract believed to be expiring at some point this month, and with him having been in attendance at this week's WWE Raw, there's now word on whether Matt actually met with WWE officials during this Raw visit.

As per Fightful Select, it seems Matt and his wife Reby were merely at Raw to meet with friends rather than to talk business. This report notes how a friend of the Hardys' invited them to sit in their skybox suite at Raleigh, North Carolina's PNC Arena, and the couple would be in attendance for about 90 minutes of the show. Of course, Raleigh is only an hour or so from Matt and Reby's home in Cameron, North Carolina.

Where his AEW status is concerned, Matt Hardy is still under contract with the promotion, although, as alluded to, his current deal is due to expire this month. Should Matt indeed end up exiting All Elite Wrestling, he wouldn't be doing so with his brother Jeff in tow, for the Charismatic Enigma has had his own AEW contract extended due to injury and inactivity.
