Baron Corbin underwent something of a transformation on this week's WWE Raw, re-debuting as JBL's new managerial client on Monday nights, ditching his previous ring name, "Happy Corbin", in the process.

Fightful Select has since confirmed that Corbin is now listed as "Baron" internally. This was reflected on Raw, where he retained some of his previous gimmick's motifs during his ring entrance but lost the "Happy" tag.

Fightful notes, too, that WWE didn't keep JBL and Corbin's Raw content hidden, opting instead to include it on internal materials in the days leading up to the show.

Corbin made a winning start to life under JBL's stewardship. Introduced by the Hall of Famer, he proceeded to defeat Dolph Ziggler in his first outing as a Raw star, having made the jump from SmackDown. This followed Rey Mysterio swapping red for blue last Friday night.

Baron had been off WWE television since entering a limousine during an episode of SmackDown several weeks ago. This ultimately led led to the JBL affiliation, which now looks set to become a full-time partnership on Monday nights, completing WWE's latest minor roster reshuffle.
