With Triple H recently saying WWE's switch to AI for creative purposes is "inevitable", and reports that the company has an agreement in place with the Writer AI platform, there's now somewhat of an update on how Artificial Intelligence could be implemented by the market leader.

Per Fightful Select, the WWE creative team is said to have had AI tools at its disposal for several years. Rather than using AI to write shows and suggest new creative plans, this AI has been used more as a reference tool or an assistant, helping writers to check things like "the last time two wrestlers had a match" and making the creative process as "not starting with a blank page". Sources told Fightful that they didn't know of anybody who used AI for more than a couple of minutes.

Following the news that Cyrus Kowsari has recently been hired as WWE's Senior Director of Creative Strategy, this Fightful report adds that the creative team is under the belief that Kowsari has been brought in to help explore ways for AI to assist with removing background noise, organising files, and general production work, rather than for any storyline purposes. One production employee told the outlet how excited they are at the prospect of AI being able to help in their day-to-day job, with it noted how they work "insane, nonstop" hours.

To reiterate, Fightful was told that AI is not replacing the WWE creative team, with one source proclaiming how "Michael Hayes, Paul Heyman, and Ed Koskey are not AI".
