4. W/ Evolution Vs. The Rock & Mick Foley (WrestleMania XX)
Despite being a well-respected WWE legend nowadays, it wasn't always that way for Big Dave. Just one year before winning the Royal Rumble and main-eventing WrestleMania 21, Batista was without question looked at as the least impressive member of Evolution and nothing but a big and muscular 'WWE guy'.
At WrestleMania XX in Madison Square Garden, 'The Animal' took part in a Handicap Match alongside Evolution members Ric Flair and Randy Orton against The Rock 'n' Sock Connection. Despite winning his WrestleMania debut against wrestling legends The Rock and Mick Foley, this match was more about 'The Nature Boy' clashing with 'The Great One' and, above all, it was there to promote the upcoming feud between Foley and Orton. Batista was just sort of there as Evolution's powerhouse with nothing better to do, but he did get to share the ring with (and beat) the best at WrestleMania in MSG.
Things thankfully changed for Batista, as he continued to learn, improve and get better, and just a few months later he was the hottest thing in wrestling alongside John Cena.
