Batista's WWE WrestleMania Matches Ranked From Worst To Best
3. Vs. John Cena (WrestleMania XXVI)
Speaking of John Cena, the top two WWE superstars of the late 2000s were going head to head at WrestleMania XXVI in 2010 for Batista's WWE Championship, six years after wrestling their first 'Mania matches and five years after both won their first World Titles at WrestleMania 21.
A new and improved heel version of 'The Animal' helped make this match a thousand times more interesting, and after some amazing bad*ss promos in the build-up, the two delivered a great match at 'Mania that ultimately saw 'Big Match John' win his ninth WWE World Heavyweight Championship after making Batista tap out to the STF.
One thing that helped this match was the fact that WWE knew they were never going to do better than Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker, and this time WWE smartly chose to put the two legends in the main-event unlike the year before.
Less than two months after WrestleMania XXVI and after putting Cena over in title rematches at both Extreme Rules and Over the Limit, Batista left WWE in the middle of what was arguably his best year in the company.
