Having been seen at the WWE Hall of Fame 2025 ceremony on Friday night, it looks like Becky Lynch could be set to return at WrestleMania 41 Night 2 later today.

Initial reports yesterday claimed Lynch would be returning "very soon", and Bryan Alvarez of f4w/Wrestling Observer now notes how that "very soon" is today.

This return will see the Man team up with Lyra Valkyria to take on WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Valkyria and Bayley earned themselves a shot at the Women's Tag Titles on last week's SmackDown, and 'Mania Night 1 saw Bayley ruled out of today's tag bout after being attacked backstage by an unknown assailant(s). As a result, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce declared that the Women's Tag Team Championships will still be defended on Night 2, and that Lyra had 24 hours to find herself a replacement partner - and yes, the belief is that Becky Lynch will indeed be that replacement.

For those wondering about Bayley, the Role Model is not actually injured, and this is instead merely a storyline injury that had been planned for a while, seemingly as a way to usher in the WWE return of Becky.

Of course, Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria have plenty of history together, with the two Irish grapplers long-time friends and Lynch serving as a mentor to Lyra. The pair also did battle in NXT, with Valkyria defeating Lynch to become NXT Women's Champion at Halloween Havoc 2023.

Becky Lynch's WWE Return

Becky Lynch last wrestled for WWE on a May 2024 episode of Raw, where she lost to then-Women's World Champion Liv Morgan in a steel cage; Morgan previously defeated Lynch for that title at King of the Ring a couple of days earlier.

Last June saw Becky become a free agent, taking a hiatus from the wrestling world. However, reports surfaced in January that Big-Time Becks had signed a new WWE deal, with tentative plans to have her return on Raw's Netflix premiere. Those plans would ultimately be scrapped, though it now appears that the 38-year-old's return is only a matter of hours away as of this writing.

Not just does Becky Lynch have an established on-screen relationship with Lyra Valkyria, but, as alluded to, Lynch has plenty of previous with Liv Morgan and a certain Dirty Dom. As such, that only adds further to how much sense it would make for Becky to be brought back to not only team with Valkyria, but also to be going up against Liv and Raquel Rodriguez.

One of the most decorated, popular, and influential women in WWE history, Becky Lynch stands as an eight-time Women's Champion, a one-time Women's Tag Team Champion (with Lita), a Royal Rumble winner, and part of the first women's match to headline a WrestleMania.
