Bill DeMott's Side Of The Story: 13 Things We Learned On Talk Is Jericho

4. Changing The Perception

Bill says that with all due respect, if someone didn't work out, the blame would fall on him because he was the head trainer. Using Tyler Breeze as the example, he says if Breeze is successful the credit goes to Billy Gunn who works directly with Breeze, but if Prince Pretty doesn't work out Bill DeMott takes the blame. He says when the allegations broke he had the option of speaking up and going to war to defend himself but he had to take into account that he's a father and a husband and he had to overcome the part of him that wanted to vociferously state his case. He remarks that he's loyal to the business and to Triple H and he's proud of the work they've done together and he never wants to tarnish anything, so he doesn't have an opinion that he chooses to share, and over the past three months he's decided he wants to change the perception of him. He wants people to see the Bill DeMott who devoted so much time to guys who were considered to never have a chance, trying to come up with ideas and strategies to help exceed the expectations.
