Bill DeMott's Side Of The Story: 13 Things We Learned On Talk Is Jericho

1. Favorite Matches

Jericho closes by asking what Bill's favorite bout he's ever had, and he replies that it wasn't his first match vs. Randy Savage. He said it was his very first day in WCW and he was asked to cut a promo on The Macho Man, and his very first show on Nitro he was working a match with Savage. He also adds that other than "being an internet darling" the thing he's best known for is being Goldberg's first opponent, starting the streak. He says that nobody had any idea what he was going to turn into, and wishes he'd known then what he knows now. Bill DeMott came off very amicably in this interview and, while not going into much, if any detail on the majority of the allegations leveled against him, he did take the high road and basically say that he martyred himself so that NXT could continue on progressing with the negative cloud his presence had created. Regardless of your opinion on the story, this is recommended listening.
