Finally addressing a potential dream match fans have salivated over for years, Bobby Lashley has at long last called out Brock Lesnar.

On Twitter.

Quote-tweeting a random reply guy after 'The All Mighty' and Shelton Benjamin appeared on an episode of The Bump to talk about wrestlers they'd like to face inside Shane McMahon's Raw Underground, Lashley went for the biggest target in a tweet after the pair had previously named Erik from The Viking Raiders, Dolph Ziggler and Aleister Black.

He said; "This guy says I won’t call you out @BrockLesnar. This is me calling you out."

His message was short and succinct, but laid the first foundation for something that might eventually occur if and when 'The Beast' returns to action.

Timing had been against the two going to war in either WWE or in Mixed Martial Arts over the last decade and a half, but the carrot hasn't really been dangled since Lashley returned to the company in 2018. A loss to Roman Reigns in a Number One Contender's match that year was the closest he came, but an oak tree may yet rise from this 280-character acorn.
