Bobby Roode At NXT TakeOver Dallas - WWE Signing Imminent?

Roode to become the latest TNA stalwart to call WWE his new home?

Just 13 days after TNA announced Bobby Roode would be leaving the company after 12 years of service, the two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion and eight-time World Tag Team Champion was sighted at NXT TakeOver: Dallas. Highlighted by WWE's camera crew and social media team during the live event, Roode looks destined to become the latest TNA stalwart to have found a new home in WWE over the past year. https://twitter.com/WWENXT/status/716110601961938944 Along with Samoa Joe, AJ Styles and Austin Aries in the past year; Beer Money Inc. teammate James Storm also had a brief stint in NXT before returning to TNA in early 2016. Even so, it's more than likely that Roode will pursue a singles career in NXT after Storm's signing with the troubled Impact! brand. Speaking with the Peterborough Examiner following his split from TNA, Roode cited stagnation as the reason for his departure. "It felt like it was the right time," Roode said. "After almost 13 years in a wrestling company I felt like there was nothing really left for me to do there.I wanted to mutually part ways. "It was just a matter of me being in a part of my life where I'm not sure TNA was the right fit for me anymore. "The brand has been stale for the last little while and the growth wasn't there as it was in the early years."

Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
