A committed troll, he keeps no-showing his appearances: instead of opening Monday Night Raw with a crowd-pleasing promo, he delivers a brief satellite address from his Chicago home. The obvious takeaway being that - despite honouring the bare minimum of his contractual obligations - he won't dance to the beat of the WWE drum.

He even misses his cue to be the number 30 spot at the Royal Rumble - which was supposed to be a ceremonial victory for Mr Straight Edge, aided by a group of paid mercenaries (Cass, Neville, et al), but ends up being won, against the odds, by John Cena. Oops.
