The former WWE Universal Champion appears to have options on the table.

It sounds like Braun Strowman is a man in demand.

Following on from last week's report stating that WWE wants their former Monster back following AEW's recent signing spree, Strowman tweeted the following on Tuesday:-

The 37-year-old is currently a free agent after being released by WWE on 2 June. His name looked like a typo alongside the likes of Buddy Murphy and Lana, given that as a wrestler, he was built by the company from the ground up, though it was later reported that other WWE personnel weren't surprised by the departure given Braun's massive seven-figure salary.

Strowman is yet to announce his next move in professional wrestling. If bound by a 90-day non-compete clause, as is standard in WWE, he won't be able to sign with or appear for other promotions until after 31 August. This would give WWE an immediate competitive advantage over alternative companies in negotiations.

Signed to a developmental contract in 2013, Braun's biggest triumph came at WrestleMania 36 in 2020, when he defeated Goldberg to become Universal Champion. His most acclaimed work remains his breakout feud with Roman Reigns in 2017.
